Although I don't usually use boxed brownie mixes this one was on sale and I just couldn't resist. Who doesn't like Ghirardelli chocolate anyway? Just a note... if you are on a diet or watching your sugar intake quietly turn around and run like hell 'cause this one will ruin everything you have been trying hard to achieve. : ) For those who believe dessert is a necessity of life..... enjoy!

Oh my! I'm thinking we need some tomorrow for a "Sunday Night Treat"!!! Thanks:)
This post is enough to turn me from my South Beach diet!
I made them today. They seemed pretty easy to make but then I tried taking them out of the pan. The middle brownies fell apart on the bottom. Not enough moisture? I'll try again using parchment paper.
Hi Sharon, I guess I should have mentioned to line the pan with foil or parchment. Makes for easier cutting for sure. Let me know how the second batch came out : )
Horrible recipe. Sticks to the pan, falls apart when you try to cut. Complete waste of time and ingredients.
Mine were falling apart too but I transferred them to wire racks for cooling and they came out PERFECT!!!
Please Help!
do you make the brownies as directed on the box before putting them in the pan. Or do i just use the browning mix powder?
Mine stuck to the pan like glue. They tasted good but can't get them out of the pan...trying to cut them is like sawing through wood (almost broke my metal spatula getting them out)...wondered if they needed more butter? Very disappointed. Perhaps parchment would help?
Put it in the fridge before you cut. Also, bake it for only 30 minutes. Also make sure to turn the pan half way after 15 minutes. I made it and it came out delicious! I made it extra special by drizzling it with melted chocolate.
Umm... The brownies fell apart because you didn't follow instructions!!! It said to let cool COMPLETELY!!! Duh. i did that and mine came out fine.
Made these exactly from recipe and they are like brick mortar. Tried a second batch with the same result. Will not make again.
